Stations of the Cross from
Queen of Angels Church

In 2022 lightning caused a fire and extensive damage to the Queen of Angels Church in Ft. Scott, Kansas. The church had unique, antique Stations of the Cross that were collected as charred pieces in plastic tubs. Parishioners chose to salvage them as they were superior to anything available today. Mary Frances pieced the puzzles together, filling in holes with newly created pieces to make the Stations complete again. Painters repainted the Stations. A newly built church was dedicated in 2024, and the restored Stations inspire all who enter.
